Hitech Business Systems located at Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie, AB specialize in the sales and services of Toshiba, Canon and Lexmark copiers and printers. We have a vacancy for a full time and permanent sales specialist/account manager with Toshiba technical knowledge.

Duties

Plan and implement strategies to market office equipment and services to new and existing customers

Maintain a large base of qualified prospects through phone call and personal visit

Business to Business prospecting to develop new opportunities

Deliver professional proposals to clients that provide industry leading solutions

Demonstrate hardware and software advantages

Continue to educate oneself on emerging technology in our field

Grow year-over-year sales results

Maintain and continue to increase the client base within a specified territory

Maintain communication with our service team.

Track all communication with customers and potential customers through our CRM software

Assess clients' needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services

Provide input into product and service design where goods or services must be tailored to suit clients' needs

Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service of copier and printing environment

Prepare and administer sales contracts

Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support

Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment

Report to Sales Manager

Competencies, Abilities and Requirements

Previous sales experience of copiers, managed print services and related services

Completion of High School

Ability to perform the duties listed above

Excellent work ethic and exudes Professionalism

Self-starter and can work independently but also be a team player

Active listening skills and probing abilities to effectively qualify customer needs and define their requirements

Ability to respond promptly to needs and concerns of all customers and prospects

Ability to source and contact decision makers to arrange meetings to sell and promote document solutions equipment and services

Planning, organizational and scheduling skills to ensure the achievement of revenue goals in a time-efficient manner

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

PC Skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and quick learner of web applications

Knowledge of networks and IT skills would be preferred.

Prior copier selling experience required - 5 year minimum preferred

Prior phone system knowledge would be an asset

Prior knowledge of MPS Solutions and Document Management Solutions would be an asset.

Must have Toshiba experience in the copying and printing environment

Wages and Benefits

$31.25 per hour

Commission payable based on managerial discretion
