Clarity 2 Prosperity is a rapidly growing, innovative financial services organization seeking a top flight Internal Wholesaler - Junior Associate of Business development. The Junior Internal Associate of Business Development works within the corporate environment and is partnered with an Internal Director of Business Development in recruiting, managing, and supporting a group of advisors. This individual is responsible for supporting the Director of Business Development, creating new and managing existing relationships with advisors to increase revenue of C2P's products throughout the country. This is accomplished through a consultative sales approach providing financial insight and product information via the telephone, so representatives can effectively offer C2P's products to their clients. This position requires an individual that has a sales focus with excellent phone skills, strong work ethic and a competitive drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

Make proactive sales calls on a daily basis with existing advisors to strengthen relationships and find selling opportunities. This includes sales campaigns, new business, follow-up meeting calls, and others as directed.

Create a referral leads list to recruit new advisors.

Schedule quality appointments each week to tee the Director up to have calls with producing or potentially producing advisors.

Investigate proactive sales opportunities through proactive efforts with the Director of Business Development.

Work closely with the Director of Business Development to develop and execute an appropriate business plan to maximize sales.

Identify and convert advisors into producing advisors.

Utilize C2P's databases to create and maintain advisor profile levels and data on current and proposed sales activity.

Assists in all aspects of the sales process.

Recruit prospects and existing advisors to events.

Proactively contact current advisors sharing updates, service advisor requests.

Make proactive sales calls to share life and annuity planning concepts and sales successes, identify sales opportunities, provide product information, gather marketing data, and offer sales support.

Prepare illustrations in a timely accurate fashion and follow-up to determine that illustrations meet advisor's needs and help complete the sale.

Answer or facilitate responses to advisor inquiries.

Follow-up on any new business issues.

Maintain strong knowledge of key competitors with the ability to highlight our competitive advantages without negative selling .

Establish and maintain productive, working relationships with financial advisors with the goal of earning their business.

Remain current on industry, technical and product knowledge.

Conduct a minimum of 500 calls per month and document in CRM.

Create referral opportunities and build a referral-based practice.

Assist existing team and Financial Advisors in the retention of current business (as needed).

Effectively market Clarity 2 Prosperity, C2P Advisory Group, and Prosperity Capital Advisors and show resilience through the prospecting process

Complete management reports in a timely manner.

Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of corporate information.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 Skills

Bachelor's Degree

1+ years of sales experience in the retirement plan industry (wholesales sales experience is a significant preference).

Must have the ability to work in a challenging and collaborative environment.

Possess a strong desire to win.

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Proven ability to pay attention to detail and multi-task.

Must have strong relationship building skills.

Must be a detail-oriented, well-organized self-starter with high energy and creativity.
