Clarity 2 Prosperity is a rapidly growing, innovative financial services organization seeking a top flight Internal Director of Business Development. The Internal Director of Business Development works within the corporate environment and is partnered with a Junior Associate of Business Development in recruiting, managing, and supporting a group of advisors. This individual is responsible for managing a Junior Associate of Business Development, creating new and managing existing relationships with advisors to increase revenue of C2P's products throughout the country. This is accomplished through a consultative sales approach providing financial insight and product information via the telephone, so representatives can effectively offer C2P's products to their clients. This position requires an individual that has a sales focus with excellent phone skills, strong work ethic and a competitive drive to succeed.
Assists in all aspects of the sales process.
Master the skills needed to promote and train all of our core financial planning processes and tools along with product and portfolio implementation.
Drive sales of our core product and portfolio offerings as well as the training our company provides.
Conduct live and virtual training on The 4 Week Sprint Training curriculum.
Recruit prospects to events and directly into the training company, FMO, and RIA.
Create strategy and execution to ensure advisors are attending the live training events we host such as The Mastermind Collegiums, The Bucket Plan® Best Interest Process Training, and Advanced Holistic Planning Training.
Proactively contact current advisors sharing updates, service advisor requests.
Onboard advisors directly to our Training Company, FMO, or RIA.
Make proactive sales calls to share life, annuity and AUM planning concepts and sales successes, identify sales opportunities, provide product information, gather marketing data, and offer sales support.
Provide follow-up to determine that illustrations meet advisor's needs and help complete the sale.
Answer or facilitate responses to advisor inquiries.
Follow-up on any new business issues.
Maintain strong knowledge of key competitors with the ability to highlight our competitive advantages without negative selling .
Establish and maintain productive, working relationships with financial advisors with the goal of earning their business.
Remain current on industry, technical and product knowledge.
Conduct a minimum of 200 calls per month and document in CRM.
Manage an Internal Junior Associate of Business Development to deliver sales goals by identifying and fostering leads generated form referrals, ad campaigns and opportunity canvassing.
Conduct recruiting calls which are pre-scheduled by your Jr. Associate of Business Development.
Create referral opportunities and build a referral-based practice.
Assist existing team and Financial Advisors in the retention of current business (as needed).
Effectively market Clarity 2 Prosperity, C2P Advisory Group, and Prosperity Capital Advisors and show resilience through the prospecting process
Complete management reports in a timely manner.
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of corporate information.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, economic or business related field (highly preferred) or financial industry related experience.
5+ years of sales experience in the retirement plan industry (wholesales sales experience is a significant preference).
Life Insurance License and series 65 required or obtained within 6 months.
RICP and/or CFP® Designation desired.
Become certified in The Bucket Plan® Best Interest Process.
Must have the ability to work in a challenging and collaborative environment.
